I remember a lot of WHO oracles up in arms about evertons policy of signing loan players and dismissing any success Martinez had. I even recall BFS having a dig ( he really hates martinz)
What is the official line now we have Jenks and Song?

I hope we learn from Everton and don't spend all next years money on signing the loan players.
We need to bring in at least 1 Centre Back, only having 3 is a bit light, Thats without Winston leaving and Ginge not getting any younger.
Out of the 2 I'd go for Song as he seems to be in a league of his own.

We are benefiting at the moment with the loan signings. In the summer, we will either have to replace them or spend something like £20m without improving the team.

From the looks of it a couple of people on that thread said that Everton would struggle once the loanees left. Nobody said that loans themselves were a bad thing.
By the same token, we might not finish as high in the table without Big Alex Song and Jenkinson. Hopefully we can convince them to stay.
